  • What is Hillel?

    Since its founding in 1923, Hillel has become the world’s largest, most inclusive Jewish campus organization, serving more than 140,000 students each year at 850 colleges and universities around the world. Hillel is a global community and a movement, but it’s also more than that: It’s a promise to empower every Jewish student along their Jewish journey, positively impacting the lives of generations of young Jews and ensuring the Jewish future, now and for years to come.

  • Does Hillel419 charge membership fees?

    Hillel never charges membership fees or dues, instead we encourage students and young adults to get involved and shape the Hillel experience. Hille1419 is supported by generous donors. Learn more about supporting Hillel.

  • What time is Shabbat?

    Peer-led services start at 5:30pm, followed by dinner and time to connect with your friends!

  • Do I have to be Jewish to join Hillel419?

    At Hillel419, you will be able to participate in meaningful experiences that connect you to other students and young adults in your community. Students and young adults from all Jewish and non-Jewish backgrounds are welcome at Hillel419!

  • Where are the Hillel buildings?

    Hillel419 has a dedicated space next to The University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University’s campuses. In Toledo, we are located across of the Law School and in Bowling Green, we are located across from Offenhauer Towers.
